Mad Men and Barbie Unite!

I was recently browsing the site www.barbiecollector.com trying to keep up with what’s hip in the world of Barbie, when I came across Mr. and Mrs. Don Draper. Needless to say, I was ecstatic! The Mad Men Betty Draper Barbie and Don Draper Barbie were both designed by the famed Robert Best. They are both perfectly coiffed, I mean perfection!

Betty is dressed in a floral party dress, and comes with accessories. We all know that us pinup girls need accessories! Betty is accessorized with a “pearl” choker and sparkling clutch that contains a tiny compact, lipstick, and comb. Amazing!

Don is dressed in a tailored grey suit and wears a striped necktie and tan fedora. He is also accessorized with an overcoat, and “leather” briefcase. Even as a Ken Doll, Mr. Draper sure can win over the ladies… He’s a doll (no pun intended)!

There is also a blazing hot red head in this collection. You guessed it, Miss Joan Holloway also has made her Barbie debut! Joanie is beautiful as always, and my favorite part is they even gave her little opaque stockings. It was, you know, inappropriate to have bare legs in that day and age. Bravo to Barbie for keeping it classy!

Last but not least, Roger Serling finishes off this collection in a very dapper suit, polka dot tie, and handkerchief. Every Barbie CEO needs a flashy three piece suit. Roger wouldn’t be caught dead without it!
